Thank you for your interest in pursuing a PhD in CS/CE/EE with me. Due to the high volume of applications I receive, I kindly request that you review the following criteria before contacting me to ensure that your application will be considered:
Selection Criteria:
- I currently only accept students who:
- Hold a Master's degree AND have at least one first-authored decent publication (interpretation of "decent": publications in unknown conferences or journals are not considered).
- Exception: Hold a Bachelor's degree AND gradudated from (i) a top university in your country with a upper-class GPA or (ii) a reputable university with an first-class GPA, AND have a first-authored top-tier publication.
- English Proficiency Requirements (unless your country is exempted from English tests):
- Minimum subcategory score: TOEFL: 22 | IELTS: 6.5 | Duolingo: 110.
- GRE (not mandatory but preferred) - Minimum score: V 150, Q 160, AW 3.
Documents to Include:
- Fill out this table and paste it into the body of your email (no need for a long cover letter written by yourself).
- Attach your CV, Bachelor's and Master's transcripts (if you have not officially graduated, unofficial transcripts are acceptable), and TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo/GRE score reports.
- Your best or most representative publication(s).
